Marcos Mazariegos who is often mistaken as Drake or Bad Bunny, hails from the beautiful country of Guatemala. He is a frequent regular at Newport Beach. As a recent graduate from Chapman University, Marcos fell in love with the Orange County scene with its beachy views and laidback lifestyle. He has plans to visit Iran with his girlfriend later this year and is an overall warm and friendly person.

Why do you like working at HanaHaus?

“I like how working at HanaHaus feels like I’m not “clocking in” for work. The environment captures a part of a bigger community full of motivated entrepreneurs, students, techies, and more. It’ nothing like a regular office –– it’s a good place to be in.”

What is your go-to Blue Bottle Coffee order?

“I love a whole milk latte. I know a lot of people are oat milk fans here, but whole milk is the way to go.”

What is your favorite space in HanaHaus?

“Open Seating! I just love the central vibe and watching people work. It gives me energy and motivation to get my work done.”

In our blog series, Humans of HanaHaus, we present the folks that fill our workspace cafe with life: start-uppers, entrepreneurs, artists, founders, innovation managers, students, unicorns, venture capital investors and the people who make HanaHaus unique. We want to learn about their journeys. We ask them to speak about their current projects and how they leverage HanaHaus for their business.
