The premise was simple: each month, we picked a cookbook, and participants picked a recipe from it to cook and bring to share.

Cake Picnic by Elisa Sunga — from the founder of the wildly popular Cake Picnic gatherings, a joyful collection of cake recipes paired with a guide to hosting your own whole-cake potlucks with friends.
